THE CHRISTIAN QUOTATION OF THE DAY
Christ, our Light

The Christian Quotation of the Day is the personal work of Robert McAnally Adams. This tiny ministry is not associated with any organization or denomination.

A Personal Note:
I am glad that God takes late entrants. After half a lifetime of seeking to escape the reality of Christ, I have found it necessary to turn around and grudgingly follow His lead in my life. Put another way, He found me, cowering in my cell, and bade me to come out. It has been a long slow process, and it is far from over.

In January, 1996, I was prompted to begin the Christian Quotation of the Day. I had some space on a small server at Deltos.com (thanks to Steve Staton at Deltos), and so I began to mount some quotations. It began growing immediately. In June, 1996, I added an email subscription service. This also has grown at (to me) an incredible rate. When the traffic began to outgrow the resources of the server on which CQOD resided, Gospelcom gratiously offered to provide a slot on their server. Since Dec. 2008, CQOD has resided with Agathon Group.
This little ministry continues to this day (2009), having sent over 40 million emails to subscribers, and viewed perhaps five million times at the home page. I am staggered by what God does with even the timiest offerings.
